: Electronics Hardware Design Lead Engineer

Duties/Responsibilities:

*        Lead team in design of complex analog and digital circuitry including switch-mode power supplies, multi-core microprocessors, System-on-Chip processors, high-speed memories, imagers, gigabit serial data links, automotive Ethernet, CAN / CAN-FD

*        Create Hardware requirement specifications & high-level designs

*        Data-driven component selection

*        Create interface requirements for Software and Mechanical disciplines

*        Design Analysis including FMEA, Worst-Case Circuit Analysis and Signal Integrity Analysis

*        Design simulation using pSPICE

*        Schematic capture using Mentor DX Designer tools

*        Perform design verification at PCBA and System level

*        Manage, review, approve, release all Hardware work products

*        Support development of Hardware & Integration test plans

*        Support System Design activities from the Hardware perspective

*        Disciplinary management of design engineers

Position Requirements:

*        Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred

*        10+ years related experience in automotive grade hardware design

*        3+ years experience in Hardware lead role

*        Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

*        Experience in hardware design in computer vision products is a plus

*        Experience in hardware design of RADAR products is a plus

*        Demonstrated ability to contribute to System Level Design decisions

*        Automotive electronics experience, familiarity with electronics industry standards and Functional Safety (ISO 26262)

*        Strong analog/digital design background including high speed digital design experience

*        In-depth understanding of controlled impedance PCB design, clock distribution and timing analysis
