Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive test plans to verify safety and reliability of electronic systems

Conduct software and integration testing across multiple platforms, in both simulation and real-world environments

Prepare estimates for new projects, technical documentation, reports, and presentations

Maintain effective communication with suppliers, internal and external customers, and outside resources concerning technical subject matter

Process engineering information through CMMI level 3 procedures and software safety process

Establishes priorities for work delegated to others and coordinate tasks within large development programs

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in programming embedded controllers in C/C++, model based / Simulink, and/usages such as Structured Text

2+ years of experience with software testing, preferably with on-vehicle experience

Able to travel up to 10% of time

Experience with version control, release management, and peer review systems and processes

Experience in developing software for vehicle control systems, either on-road way

Familiarity with safety standards such as MIL-STD-882E, ISO 26262, IEC 61508

Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Excellent software system design skills

Windows, UNIX/Linux programming experience
