Job Title: Aftertreatment Design Engineer

Employment: Fulltime



The position will support design, development, and maintenance of emissions control systems for Client C7.2-C18 size engines. Primary responsibility will be design support for PETU (Pump Electronic Tank Unit). Focus of the assignment will be as a quality first responder and design liaison. Contribute to the concept and development of complex components and subsystems while strengthening engineering skills. Interact with a global team of industry experts and contribute to the delivery of design projects.


Typical Day:

The position will interact with a global cross functional team to complete design projects. Job activities will include gathering and communicating design requirements between US and India based teams, presenting design reviews and project status updates, investigating design issues and problem solving, supporting design development, supporting lab and bench test activities, being a first responder for production issues, working with suppliers on design for manufacturability, assisting with engineering change management, participating in project meetings, and continually improving existing products for better reliability and cost.


Education Requirement:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.

3-5yrs experience in design or product development is desired.


Technical Skills Required:

Critical Technical Skills (Must to have):

Proficient in CREO / ProE

Experience in Aftertreatment systems.

Familiar with engine and emissions control hardware.

Analytical and problem-solving capability.


Technical Skills (Nice to have):

Familiar with quality tools and processes.

Familiar with Deviation.

PCN/PPAP, CI card, BIQ issues
